Florence Columbus applies her extensive training and firsthand experience to create excellent matches between candidates and clients. She followed her Pre-Nursing studies with her Bachelors of Science degree in Health Science from California State University Los Angeles. Now with several years of medical office experience and 11 years of healthcare staffing/recruiting and marketing experience to her credit, Florence is using her talents to assist Oceans Medical Staffing to meet today’s medical staffing needs. Florence’s progression to medical staffing in 2004 was a seamless transition that has allowed her to apply her talent and expertise to the benefit of many happy clients and employees. She instinctively recognizes the skills required to maintain an efficient medical practice.
In 2010, with encouragement and support from her husband, Florence left a successful position at OfficeWorksRX Medical Staffing where she built the Orange County market from the ground up to a 2 million dollar a year business, to start Oceans Medical Staffing, Inc. Leaving the corporate world after 6 years has inspired her to apply her knowledge and skills into a passion by helping people find great opportunities and helping her clients find great employees.

Roderick Cabahug provides business operations support to Oceans Medical Staffing and its team of internal and temporary staff. Roderick received a BA in Biological Psychology from California State University, Fullerton.
Roderick has extensive experience and accomplishments in account management, recruitment, results-driven sales and strategic marketing. Before coming to Oceans Medical Staffing, Roderick was President of Pacific Technology, a tech media company servicing Fortune 1000, Government, Tech and the Entertainment Industry. He has also provided his Business Operations, Marketing and Sales talents to such companies as Media Store, CD Cyclone, Net Micro Technologies and Management Recruiters.
During his college years, Roderick worked every weekend at Mission Hospital where he developed a respect for the caregivers who dedicated their lives to the passion of servicing their patients. After college he worked at the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis as a job coach for developmentally disabled adults. Roderick’s Health Care, Psychology and Business experience makes him a perfect fit for Oceans Medical Staffing where he is able help further the careers of quality Health Care Professionals.
Business Support Specialist
Pam has been an important member of our team providing exceptional service to our clients in a professional and caring manner. She has 8 years of experience in the Healthcare Staffing industry specializing in Business Development, Marketing and Customer Service. She also worked at Blue Cross of California Customer Service Department for 4 years assisting members, physician offices and medical facilities resolve a wide variety of issues. Prior to that she handled Medical Records at a Skilled Nursing Facility and is currently studying to become a Certified Medical Coder. We truly value the contributions Pam has made to our business.
